Is an Amazon Sword a cold water aquatic plant? does it need a heater?

I had an amazon sword in a coldwater tank and it did just fine, so I think you can keep it in there. Also I never did anything special for any of my aquarium plants, so as long as you keep your fish tank like you are supposed to, the plants should do fine.
