Lubricant suggestions?

So I guess my is sensitive or something, but practically whatever lube I use, I get a stinging sensation. I told my boyfriend to get a normal lubricant that doesn't have any "effect" or intesnifying pleasure or scent to it so he got a normal KY jelly and it still stings whenever we use it, but it goes away after we start getting into it. Is this normal? Also, if other people experience this, what lube do you use so that you don't get that stinging sensation?
