I have a round hard painful lump under my chin that showed up this morning, what is it?

I believe it is a swollen lymph node (spelling?). It's part of your immune system. I have had it before, and that's what I was told. You have a couple more lymph nodes in your neck. It's nothing to be too concerned about.
