Elizabeth is Calling.. Poem from challenge. Would ya...?

I think it is generally a really good poem and tells a good story, with good use of rhyme which helps to give it form and flow. My one criticism would be that I don't like the rhyme in the last verse of "why" with "wife". I think if it had been it any of the other verses, it may have been ok, but because this is the last verse, in my opinion a tighter rhyme would have given the story a greater impact and feeling of completion. It would have ended on a heavier sound somehow. Maybe I'm just being picky.
